Chapter 0802 – The Might of Heavenly Dragon Resonance Enlightenment

Chapter 0802 – The Might of Heavenly Dragon Resonance Enlightenment

When he recalled his memories regarding Heavenly Dragon Resonance Enlightenment, a pleasant smile surfaced on his face. This was the perfect solution to his problem right now.

He could feel the formless energy from the eight thousand banner members floating aimlessly in the sky above, and he apologized to them in his own heart for the harsh measure that he was about to execute.

Taking a deep breath, he formed the necessary hand seals rapidly with both palms, leaving a trace of afterimages.

At the same moment, he shouted across the field, "Guys, take a look over here! Let me show you all something cool."

The crowd was astonished by his sudden shout at first, then they reflexively glanced over to where Li Luo was.

In the next moment, they witnessed a dazzling, gold light burst out of Li Luo, which expanded across the whole field in an instant. Everyone was shocked by what they saw. It was as if an enormous dragon manifestation that they could not see the ends of had emerged.

Although the dragon manifestation was a little blurry, its appearance had sent a terrifying wave of pressure across the crowd that left everyone stunned.

It was as if a huge cudgel had directly struck their mental state. They completely forgot about themselves at that moment and were left in a daze.

The enormous torrent of energy that was bubbling previously had begun to calm down. In fact, it seemed to become passive extremely quickly.

Seeing this, Li Luo seized the opportunity, swiftly gathering up the energy above with the help of the Banner Leader's gold seal.

In a short moment, the energy that was previously resisting by instinct was under his control.

Now the energy that he could utilize had grown remarkably powerful.

After half a minute or so, the crowd regained their consciousness from their stunned state. They discovered in astonishment that an extremely huge energy torrent had appeared within the ocean of energy above them.

And Li Luo was the one in control of it.

They simply could not believe their own eyes. Just a while ago, Li Luo had barely managed to control ten percent of the total energy. Now he was managing over seventy percent of it.

Without a doubt, Li Luo seemed to possess significant control over the ocean of energy.

But how?!

Not even Li Qingfeng from the Gold Blood Banner had managed to do it in his first try! Could it be that Li Luo was even more gifted than Li Qingfeng?

Their hearts wavered in excitement. If not for the state of Harmony, they would have turned to each other and started chattering in excitement.

Unlike everyone else, Zhong Ling was confused and full of panic as he stared at the enormous torrent of energy under Li Luo's control now.

He could not fathom what had happened during this short period of time.

What was the mysterious dragon manifestation that Li Luo had created earlier? Even now, he could not help but feel uneasy from the terrifying sense of coercion that exuded from that creature.

"What the hell did this bastard do?" Zhong Ling asked himself in a mix of fright and anger. He had wanted to see Li Luo fail and make a joke of himself. However, now that Li Luo had seventy percent of the energy under his control, the remaining thirty percent would hardly pose any threat or obstruction to him anymore.

In other words, Li Luo most likely would succeed in achieving complete Harmony with the whole banner on his first try.

Although such an achievement was not unprecedented, it had only happened a few times. At the very least, even Li Qingfeng had not managed to pull it off.

As one could imagine, Li Luo's already prestigious reputation would rise even further as soon as this news got out.

Zhong Ling felt endless frustration. On the other hand, Li Luo was pleasantly surprised. His quick thinking had achieved a much better result than he had expected, most likely because the majority of the banner members were users of the Draconic Breath Fiend Art. The effects of the dragonfear from his Heavenly Dragon Resonance Enlightenment had been outstanding.

With seventy percent of the energy under his control now, success was in sight.

With a quick thought, the majestic torrent of energy slithered in the ocean like a giant python, and the remaining energy was absorbed into it like a flock of birds returning home.

After a short while, over ninety percent of the energy was under his control.

He knew without looking that the remaining ten percent belonged to Zhong Ling and his hardcore supporters.

Only they would resist the assimilation with a strong and intentional will to rebel.

Nonetheless, resistance was futile at this point. As Li Luo controlled the huge torrent of energy to sweep past them, their energy was easily swallowed up.

In the end, he managed to successfully achieve Harmony with the entire Green Nether Banner on his first attempt.

Bang! Bang!

The magnificent energy controlled by Li Luo flew above the Green Nether drill grounds like a giant dragon wreathed in a cloak of deafening thunder. It was an oppressive aura that subdued all worldly natural energy.

As thunder continued to boom, many curious gazes in the mountain range looked over.

After all, this was enough energy to rival even a Duke. However, what really got them curious was that this wave of energy seemed unfamiliar...

When they saw that it had come from the Green Nether drill grounds, they understood that it had arisen from the Green Nether Banner's Harmony. It was not surprising at all, right? The Green Nether Banner had just obtained a new Banner Leader.

At this moment, they stopped in their thoughts and their faces changed.

As they recalled, Li Luo had just become the Banner Leader of the Green Nether Banner a few days ago, right?

Wasn’t today the first time he was attempting to attain Harmony with the Green Nether Banner?

And he had succeeded?!

At this moment, many of the elders in the Dragon's Fang Lineage were completely taken aback by this realization.

The son of Li Taixuan was truly exceptional, constantly eliciting surprises.

Back at the Green Nether drill grounds, Li Luo was happily maneuvering his newly gained power. This alluring strength was much greater than what the fifth division alone could provide. After all, it was a power that was on par with a Duke.

Nonetheless, he felt a wave of fatigue surge through him soon after. Evidently, controlling such enormous power took a huge toll on him.

With a thought from him, the huge torrent of energy slowly descended and floated in the air above the group like a colossal ocean.

He then glanced across the eight thousand banner members of the Green Nether Banner. Their eyes were filled with respect and admiration now, although this was mainly due to the sheer might that emanated from being in the presence of a ridiculous amount of energy.

All of them except a handful.

At this point, Li Luo looked over at Zhong Ling, who had a confused look on his face.

Sensing his stare, Zhong Ling immediately restrained himself and kept his face indifferent.

"Zhong Ling," Li Luo said with a slight smile. He felt that some things had to be resolved before they grew into bigger problems in the future.

"What's the matter?" Zhong Ling asked back.

"Have you recovered from your injuries?" Li Luo inquired thoughtfully.

"They are not completely healed, but they should not pose a problem during daily training," Zhong Ling replied with a frown.

Hearing this, Li Luo shook his head and then continued earnestly, "What I mean is, your health is of utmost importance! If you are injured, you should focus on recuperating, and it's okay if you take a break from trivial things like training."

As soon as Li Luo finished his sentence, the corners of Zhong Ling's eyes twitched. He immediately responded, "You worry too much, Banner Leader. My injuries are not that serious, so I don't need to rest for so long."

At this moment, he could sense what Li Luo was thinking. Li Luo wanted to use this as an excuse to keep him away from the first division. If he really took a break for a while, there would likely be no one left in the first division that would continue to support him when he returned.

Li Luo grinned brightly in response. Some of the girls in the Green Nether Banner could not help but blush at his handsome looks.

A serious look returned to his face almost as quickly as it appeared, then Li Luo pressed his palm down, and the majestic torrent of energy above came down like a mountain.

Zhong Ling was the first to bear the brunt of the immense energy. Although he was prepared for it, he was completely powerless in front of Li Luo's immense strength. In just one breath, his defense was crushed.

Zhong Ling spewed out a mouthful of blood, and anger and disbelief filled his eyes. His body crumbled under the suppressive strength and he fell onto the ground.

He had not expected to take such a heavy blow from the sudden ambush.

There was complete silence all around as the crowd watched Li Luo's merciless and decisive move in shock.

Meanwhile, Li Luo remained calm and composed as he patted his knees and watched the heavily injured Zhong Ling lose consciousness.

"Look at those injuries! They seem pretty serious to me. How could you say you were fine? You shouldn't be stubborn; just get more rest."
