Matcha had just left the small district when he instantly received Zhao Yao’s message.

“Matcha, where did you go? Quick, come back. I have news of the Revival cat.”

“Eh?”

Matcha’s eyes lit up as he ran back towards Cat Wonderland.

Just as Matcha left, Latte, who was sitting obediently in his cat bed suddenly straightened his ears and stood up. “Matcha left? He should be at that place today… I want to go and take a look…”

He grabbed his backpack and threw in one can of food. He thought for a bit before he packed some more cat food into his bag.

“I can’t go hungry when I’m outside. It’s better to pack some food just in case.”

“Right! There’s mice too!”

“I should bring a bag of catmint too.”

“Should I bring my hair cream…”

After stuffing his backpack to the brim, Latte carried it on his back and rushed out the door.

He glanced at Yellow Mud and thought, “Yellow Mud will fall asleep soon.” As he walked towards the entrance to his cat dwelling, Yellow Mud, who was playing on his phone, fluttered his eyes close as he dozed off.

Latte smiled and proceeded to walk out of the cat dwelling. He stared at the street before him and thought to himself, “Those stupid dogs in the district will be passing by soon. I should just wait for them to pass first.”

After a short while, a few stray dogs barked as they ran past. Latte waited for them to pass by before he walked to the corner of the district.

He licked his lips as he stared at the open area in front of him. “The sausage should have been thrown somewhere near here…”

As he thought of that, a human threw a half-eaten sausage out of the window. It fell right at the corner of the wall, where Latte was.

Latte devoured the sausage and walked further down. He suddenly stretched out his paws and caught a small sparrow. Looking at the small sparrow in his paws, Latte licked the sparrow’s head. Seeing how the small sparrow trembled in fear, Latte laughed and said, “I won’t eat you! Don’t be scared. Be more careful next time. Don’t fall down again!”

After putting down the small sparrow, Latte looked up at the fence again and sprung up, leaping over the wall in an instant. Thereafter, he ran towards Cat Wonderland. The path was all too familiar to him.

Once he reached the entrance to the basement in the Cat Wonderland, Latte stared at the big door before him and thought, “It should be here. However, I don’t know what lies beyond that door. I don’t even know if Matcha will be inside…”

After thinking about it, Latte decided to gather his courage and strode towards the Cat Wonderland nonchalantly.

After entering the door, he had a nagging feeling that all the cats around him were staring at him. It made him feel uncomfortable, so he quickened his pace and walked deeper into the Cat Wonderland.

One supercat asked curiously, “Eh? Is that Milk Tea?”

Another supercat remarked, “Looks like it. But why do I feel like he became much smaller?”

Latte continued climbing up a few floors and walked to a place where there were fewer cats. He finally heaved a sigh of relief. “Phew, there are so many cats here. This is my first time seeing so many cats around. But, where exactly is Matcha?”

He walked along a corridor, sniffing the air as he searched for Matcha. The next moment, he saw the back of an orange cat in the near distance. His face immediately broke into an excited smile.

“Matcha! Matcha!” Latte immediately sprinted over and leapt onto the back of that orange cat, putting his weight on him.

Mao Mao turned around coldly and saw Latte hugging him from behind. He said, “Milk Tea… I’m Mao Mao, not Matcha. Can you come down from my back now? You’re pressing so hard I can’t breathe.”

“Eh?” Latte stared at Mao Mao in shoc and immediately clambered down. “I mistook you for another cat.” He furtively glanced at Mao Mao again and thought to himself, “This cat’s face looks so sad, he is indeed quite different from Matcha.”

After he got the wrong cat, Latte meowed and scurried off. Mao Mao was slightly confused as he thought to himself, “Why do I feel like Milk Tea is a little bit different today? Forget it. I am just a pathetic cat from a lowly background, a pet cat with no freedom. I don’t have the energy to care about another cat’s life…”

At that moment, Airplane shouted from afar, “Mao Mao, Mao Mao where did you go? Quick, come out and entertain guests.”

Mao Mao ran over and smiled brightly as he said, “Brother Airplane, a customer asked for me?”

Airplane nodded and urged him forward. “It’s all because I aggressively recommended you. This customer is very rich, you better perform well. Don’t behave like you did last time and scratch the customer.”

Mao Mao immediately nodded and said, “I understand, Brother Airplane. I was too nervous last time, that’s why I stretched out my paws. I have been learning how to work for the past few days. I will definitely not make any mistakes again! I will make sure to serve them well!”

Airplane said, “I can see your potential. The first time I saw you, I knew you had the potential to be a star here, that’s why I invested so much effort in prepping you and recommending you to customers. Don’t disappoint me.”

Mao Mao was moved and replied passionately, “Brother Airplane! You treat me so well!”

Airplane patted Mao Mao’s head and said, “Okay, go ahead. Don’t let the customer wait for too long.”

As he watched Mao Mao leave, Airplane took out his phone and uploaded another advertisement. He uploaded a photo of Mao Mao with a caption that said, “The new arrival of 2018, a tender little cat! Now with a special discount of 10%. First come, first touch!”

Someone immediately left a comment below. “What a d*mn liar! Everyone, don’t believe him. The last time I chose this cat, it was obviously a 13 year old cat but it tried to act like it was 18 years old!”

“I chose him before too. This cat just had a black face the whole time. What a terrible attitude! Time wasn’t even up before he started ushering people out!”

“Low-quality black-hearted businessmen. Everyone, stop going to this shop to play with cats!”

Airplane stared at the comments in disdain as he deleted them one by one. “A bunch of poor asses. It’s a cat with a 10% discount. How good do you expect him to be?”

On the other hand, after Latte ran away from Mao Mao, he continued to smell the air to see if he could sniff out Matcha. Not long after, he saw another orange cat scrubbing the floor with all his might in the main hall.

When he saw the back view of that cat, Latte felt as though the cat looked familiar, yet foreign at the same time.

“Looks a bit like Matcha, but doesn’t seem exactly the same.”

He cautiously walked over to the front of that cat and quietly observed the facial features of that cat. He became even more puzzled. “He really looks like Matcha. How are there so many cats that look like Matcha here? Are they all my kin?”

At that moment, Milk Tea, whom he was sneakily observing, looked up. Both cats locked eyes at that moment and stared at each other.

Milk Tea thought, “Why does this guy look so much like me?”

Latte thought, “This guy really looks a lot like Matcha.”

The two little orange kittens slowly closed in on each other. Milk Tea asked curiously, “Who are you? Why do you look so much like me?”
