Gacha Sovereign

Chapter 805 Coming Back to the Ancient Battlefield

Above the sky, there were four people discussing intensely.

"I will need Great Elder Aileen if I want to unite the other influences. Normally, people won't unite that easily, and an alliance is also not something that extraordinary because they pursue benefit. However, this time is different. There is an easy way to unite people, which is to have a common enemy," Alex stated while staring at Licht's eyes.

"So, you want her to teleport the other influences here so they can witness themselves what happened here?"

"Yeah." Alex nodded.

"Bullsh*t. If that were the case, the first thing they will do is to suspect us. Fire God Clan caused no trouble in the past, and when we just occupied this area, this happened." Licht glared at him.

Alex remained calm. He waved his hand to tell him it wasn't the case. "I will handle that problem. However, I need your full cooperation. In any case, I won't be able to cultivate peacefully if they are roaming the world."

"Kh!"

"Besides, you have been underwater for too long. I bet you don't know where the monsters come from… Anyway, the other influences also have some clues if they see this, so they will absolutely agree."

"Master… Let me handle this. You can proceed in your mission." Nelson stopped him. Alex was in a hurry, so he thought the matter of handling Licht could be covered by him.

Alex took another glimpse of Licht's and Aileen's expressions before nodding his head to Nelson. "Alright. I will leave it to you."

Nelson nodded, appearing right between him and Licht to stop the latter from approaching Alex. Seeing how desperate he was, he should want to grab Alex to talk, but there was another mission that was far more important.

Alex immediately used his Teleportation Array to go to the Ancient Ruin.

"What is that?" However, the moment he teleported, he found a huge black portal in which the monsters were coming. "From my prediction, these monsters are not from this world. Do you know anything about this portal, System?"

[There are only two things that I am certain.]

"And that is?"

[First, the monsters are not from this world. Second, it's the same as those monsters that we met in the Ancient Battlefield.]

"As expected, to understand this issue more, I need to make a trip to that tower and meet the Gods and Goddesses there," Alex muttered to himself.

[Yes.]

"Alright. Although I have covered the hole, I should have no problem entering that again. It will probably take a few minutes to open it again. The problem is the monsters. Sherry, Kyle, Stina, I will be counting on you."

"Yes." The trio whispered inside him in unison.

"And how about the Space Disturbance? It's an occurrence where there is a strong enough Space Energy lingering around that area, making Space Technique unavailable to use. No, to put it more accurately, the energy is too strong that it will disrupt the flow of a person's Space Element." Alex thought for a moment.

"I can only risk it huh…" Alex clicked his tongue.

He saw a few monsters coming toward him, but in the corner of his eyes, he found the Ancient Ruin along with the last hole he used.

Alex gulped down and took out his sword while putting his spear not on his hand but hanging it on his back. He would surely need his hand to alter the array, so it wasn't a problem.

"Let's go." Alex cut a few monsters along the way where the trio controlled their own flames to fight against these monsters, helping Alex from inside his body.

Alex kept advancing toward the Ancient Ruin, and as expected, the portal was right above the sky. Luckily, the previous spot was a bit farther from the ruin.

"Still… I never expect it is still giving this much influence." Alex gritted his teeth, feeling the Space Energy around the area. It was too concentrated for him to the point it was hard to control his own Space Element.

Besides, he saw numerous monsters coming his way as if they knew his position.

Firebirds and Fire Swords began to appear around him before the trio controlled it to shoot those monsters.

*Boom Boom Boom!*

The explosions scattered around the area, creating a few layers of smoke to mask Alex's presence and cover their visions.

Alex made sure to observe their situation with his Spirit Eyes.

He placed his hand on the ground, sensing the barrier with his Spiritual Energy.

"This is it. I am going to start now. Protect me."

The flame rose as they responded to him with actions instead of words.

Seeing this, Alex smiled, feeling assured. However, when he tried to infuse his Spiritual Energy and Space Element to alter the Special Realm underneath the ground, the Space Element got brushed by this overbearing pressure coming from the portal. It swept the Space Element like a wind.

"Kh!" Alex punched the ground when he noticed that he lost too much Space Energy on the first try.

"This is really going to take a while."

Sherry suddenly came out of his body while glaring at the incoming monsters. "Master… You can take as long as you need. I will be protecting you no matter what."

After saying those words, Sherry turned into her original form and charged toward the enemies.

"Sherry…" Alex widened his eyes, not expecting Sherry to be this decisive.

Stina and Kyle also appeared beside him. "Master. We are going to help Sherry. I don't think we need to summon the others because from what we have seen, none of the monsters is high level yet. Most are Martial Monarchs. So, please take as long as you need."

Alex clenched his fist before nodding with a solemn expression. "I am counting on you."

"Yes."

Looking at their back, Alex knew that he needed to solve it as soon as possible. However, he also needed to seal it back as soon as he entered.

He took a deep breath and channeled his Spiritual Energy again. This time, he tried to preserve as much as possible but to no avail.

Not a single Space Element left when the Spiritual Energy arrived at the array surface. The Special Realm contained so much Space Energy to even block the Space Disturbance, so there was no way he could alter the array without his Space Energy.

That was why he was stuck, wondering how to deal with this.

Suddenly, his Spiritual Weapons released their Spiritual Energy, trying to tell him that they had a solution.

Alex furrowed his eyebrows before he channeled his Spiritual Energy to his Spiritual Weapons. Suddenly, there was another suction force from them before an image flashed in his mind.

"Ah… I see." Alex muttered to himself before channeling even more Spiritual Energy to his weapons. The Spiritual Energy didn't form a shield. Instead, it soared to the sky and turned into a dragon. It was then duplicated since the Spear also did the same. "Swallowing Heaven."

"Fire Enhancement." Alex used his Fire Authority to imbue these dragons with his Pure Fire. The two dragons then circled around him to use their body to block the Space Disturbance. Not only that, the dragons opened their mouth wide, sucking the Space Element from the surroundings.

"My Fire can burn anything at this point… But I have forgotten that fact. It seems these two notice that I can use my flame to burn something that doesn't even have a form. It's not a Pure Space Element, so it can be burned." Alex squinted his eyes, seeing the phenomenon.

"Hmm?" Alex suddenly noticed the difference. "The Space Energy around here suddenly gets thinner. With a little bit more, I should be able to start working."

At this time, Alex suddenly had an idea and shouted. "Sherry, Kyle, Stina. Return to my body right now!"

The trio heard the shout and glanced back. Exchanging looks with each other, they nodded and pulled back while slowing down the monsters.

After a few more seconds, Alex then channeled his Spiritual Energy imbued by his Space Element.

"Kh!" Even though it was already lowered by a huge degree, he still had a hard time controlling his Space Element. However, he couldn't waste this precious chance that the two weapons gave him.

He persisted step by step, creating and fixing a few symbols so he could enter. And finally, after a long five minutes, Alex made a hole and immediately jumped in.

Yet, he didn't let himself fall down. Instead, he activated his Spiritual Energy to float right below the array.

"Some monsters might also use this hole to sneak in. I need a few minutes to seal the entrance."

"Then, that is easy." Sherry made her appearance again. But this time, she only used her Beast Transformation to fight.

Alex proceeded to seal the entrance. The process had the same difficulty as the previous one due to the Space Energy that leaked from the hole. Alex only gritted his teeth and finished his job after a few minutes.

"Fu…" He wiped the sweat on his forehead, never expecting it would be this hard to enter this place.

"We are going to that pillar again, enter the tower." Alex nodded and created a Teleportation Array.

Not long after, he arrived not far from the tower, but he sensed something was wrong.

"What is this?" Alex squinted his eyes. "The tower is releasing a massive amount of energy. This shouldn't happen because the portal from the inside is not opened yet."

Not long after, he found many people around the area that seemed to be investigating the cause.

Alex paid no heed and flew toward the pillar.

He looked at the people around the area before touching the tower while floating in the air.

"Hey, who are you?!" A person flew toward him. He was a middle-aged man with 5-Star Martial Saint strength.

Alex looked at this brown-haired man and asked. "Are you in charge here?"

"Who are you?!" He became even more vigilant when Alex asked that question.

Alex released his Spiritual Energy to pressure this man. "I need to know if you are in charge here first."

The brown-haired man gulped down, never expecting there was a young man with a cultivation base stronger than him.

"If you are still hindering me, I shall cause a ruckus here," Alex warned him.

The brown-haired man gritted his teeth and shook his head. "I am not."

"Then do you know anything about this tower? Did something happen to this one before?"

"I can't say anything regarding that because I don't have any permission to say it. Even if you kill me, I won't answer."

"Then get the person in charge here. The Tower is leaking all over, so it will be dangerous soon."

"Who are you to even req—"

Before he finished his words, a young man with a cultivation base of 2-Star Martial Saint appeared. "There is no need. I am here. Why would a person stronger than him visit this area yourself?"

"You are the one in charge?"

"I am the second prince of Evvy Kingdom. I have been tasked to investigate what happened to this tower. There are a few representatives from other kingdoms as well, but they are on the other side of this tower."

"I need to know what is happening here and try to solve it. I am afraid the world will turn into chaos if I don't fix this." Alex said, looking at this blonde-man.

"I see…" He closed his eyes for a few seconds. "The world huh… By any chance, are you not from here?"

Alex paused before nodding.

"I see. There was once a person that was supposed to be a challenger… But never made his appearance. Can I safely assume it is you?"

It would be troublesome to explain it, so he decided to nod. He was already half right anyway. "Yes."

Before he said any more words, the tower reacted and summoned a few words right in front of them.

'We are occupied right here. Please make a hole or search for a place to meet us. We need your power at the moment.'

It was at this moment, the prince suddenly dropped his jaw. He was fixated by the words before gulping down. "Can… Can I call the other representatives here too?"
