Leveling Endlessly with the Strongest System!

255 Way to The last Trial!

“You told him more than he should know!”

The Righteous Knight’s shout rang in Yulran’s ears.

“He is your hope but also my descendant.” Yulran narrowed his eyes at him. “How I interact with him, it’s not up to you, understand?”

Under his gaze, the Righteous Knight felt uneasy, his soul constricted, threatening to break.

Yulran definitely didn’t like that a mere wisp of “his” soul dared to raise his voice against him and thus was teaching him a lesson.

“I understand.”

Giving him a nod, the Righteous Knight, a being who once held unimaginable power but now was just a watered-down version of his past self, turned away from him. Messing with Yulran wasn’t something he could afford or wanted.

After threatening the Righteous Knight, whose origin was shocking, to say the least, Yulran ignored him.

Seconds later, he disappeared completely.

A part of the Crimson Dragon God has died!

Seeing him vanishing for good, the Formless Siren cried even louder, wailing uncontrollably.

“If it would make you feel better, cry more.” Roy embraced her, lending her his shoulder.

That bastard Voss wasn’t going to come for them until they stepped out of this corridor, and thus, for the time being, they had all the time in the world to be lovey-dovey.

“She will, won’t she?” Shadowless asked the Righteous knight.

The Righteous Knight subconsciously blurted to him, “I guess.”

With that, he broke his persona of being unable to talk.

Shadowless eyed him suspiciously, “You can talk?”

“You must be hearing things.”

Shadowless: “…” ?? I can fucking hear you. I will report you to my creator!

“Even if you tell him, as long as I refuse to speak in front of him, he will take it as you have gone crazy and started hearing things. You might get recycled, then. So do yourself a favor and keep quiet about this.” The righteous knight threatened Roy’s first shadow before vanishing into the runic sword, Piercer.

“How dare you threaten me? Fuck you!” Shadowless stomped the sword a good few times before silently sneaking into Roy’s shadow.

Meanwhile, the Formless Siren, without any hesitation, used her handsome husband like a tissue, burying her face on his chest, smearing it with her tears and snot.

All his attention was on her.

He could feel her pain due to the bond he shared with her.

She was in extreme sorrow, and he could even tell why.

Her life played like a picture before his eyes.

It’s better to say that she subconsciously opened up to him, using the red threads that connected them to share her emotions and memories with him as he started to accept her.

Voss began grooming her the second she gained consciousness, telling her all kinds of terrible things, so terrible that she contemplated suicide many times and would have killed herself if not for Yulran.

Yulran accompanied her for one and a half centuries, talking to her, easing her worries, looking after her like a father.

Now that the person she had taken as her father was dead, she felt unbearable pain in her heart.

It was as if her heart was being stabbed. Even breathing became hard for her.

Formless Sirens were very emotional beings. This is proven by the fact that they would feel saddened after mistakingly killing an ant yet kill anyone that threatens what’s there.

Here, her adoptive father has died.

Roy had no words to explain her sorrow.

He sympathized with her, but that’s all he could do.

Tears streamed down her eyes like a waterfall, unending, full of sorrow.

All kinds of terrible emotions haunting her also melted away as they left her eyes.

When Roy’s shirt was drenched in her tears and snort, she calmed down.

“Feeling better?”

He grabbed her chin and raised her face.

It was red, her eyes seemingly swollen like a baboon’s butt, but even then, to Roy, she looked like a fairy who stepped out of a picture.

Someone said it right, love makes a person blind!

“Mm-hmm.” She pecked his cheeks as if rewarding him, “Thank you.”

For the first time, he was there when she needed him. This made her immensely happy.

Roy touched his cheeks. The warmness of her lips was still left there.

Thud!

Tevenlor walked up to Roy and then, all of a sudden, fell to his knees before him, bowing to him like a man who was about to be knighted by the king.

“What are you doing this for?” Roy raised his eyebrows at him in confusion.

“I would like to follow you.” Tevenlor stated, not a hint of confusion or reluctance present in his voice, “Please accept me as your follower!”

He really meant what he said.

“Is that his wish?” Roy asked him.

Tevenlor raised his head and gave him a nod.

“My creator desired that I serve you after him.”

“I accept,” Roy enrolled him in his servitude, and he rose to his feet.

“What about you? What do you desire? Be honest.”

“I-I… want to immediately go to Voss and die fighting him, but that would be a foolish choice.”

Voss doesn’t kill a person unless it benefits him. He would corrupt Tevenlor and use him as his tool if he found out that Tevenlor had betrayed him.

His best bet was to follow Roy.

Once he was all grown up and could slay a God, returning to this place and helping him kill Voss wouldn’t just be a dream.

“One day, I will take you to slay Voss.”

After promising that to Tevenlor, Roy scrutinized the chamber, his gaze sweeping across it but finding only one way in and out of it.

Just where was the secret path to the last trail ground? He wondered.

“Where is the way to the next trial?” Roy asked Tevenlor after a moment.

No one except for him knew how to get there, not even the Formless Siren.

“Somethings are better shown than told.”

With that said, Tevenlor walked up to the wall opposite them.

Coating himself in Force, he walked into it.

What happened next surprised the newlywed couple.

Instead of bumping into it, he went straight into it, vanishing from their sight.

Then, he stepped out of it after a second, reappearing in their sight.

Roy: “…” How great is this secret mechanism that it even escaped my senses!

The Formless Siren: ( ∩╹□╹∩) Wow!
