Master of the End Times

Chapter 649 - Latecomers Will be Denied

Chapter 649: Latecomers Will be Denied

Within a matter of three days, Cinderclast City suddenly became extremely popular.

Some B-tiers had left but that was a small number in comparison to the other people that came in from all over. Besides more B-tiers, there was also a massive amount of C-tiers.

These people had not heard the news, only rumors which had caused them to arrive.

Such events were rare enough and these aptitude users would not want to miss this opportunity.

Back then when Qin Feng was still an F-tier aptitude user, Han Town was a small colony which ended up getting swarmed by aptitude users because of the news about the Crystal Scarab. What was more, it was news about a different dimension.

The aptitude users were coming in like tides.

The valley where Qin Feng designated as a place to compete was jam-packed with the shapes and shadows of different people. Based on a rough estimate, there had to be at least three thousand C-tiers and two hundred B-tiers.

The people gathered in the wilderness were not there because they wanted to hunt ultra beasts, nor because they were going to stave off a beast wave. It was because they came to watch a competition.

It reminded people of something they would see in a history book, which later caused plenty more people to flock to that historical site just to see it for themselves and eventually form into a massive crowd.

On a hill, two B-tiers had furrowed brows. These two were acquaintances of Qin Feng.

Fu Wenjue and He Liming!

As for Yang Bei, due to his position, he left Cinderclast City. Although he knew that there was a lot of excitement there, he also knew that the situation was impossible.

Defeat Qin Feng in 100 blows?

What a joke! It would be impressive if Qin Feng managed to not kill anyone who tried!

Fu Wenjue and He Liming on the other hand had in fact been invited over by Qin Feng. They would get 3% of the earnings made by the entrance fee into the Cinderclast Dimension. In other words, 100 billion tickets meant that they would get 3 billion each.

What they were asked to do was merely guard the fortress, deal with real battles and defend the Floating City and other machinery.

With such an offer, it was a lucrative deal that they could not refuse.

That was how Qin Feng managed to coax these two B-tiers on board.

“If they actually cause trouble down there, I’d have no idea how to deal with that!” Fu Wenjue cracked a wry grin.

“I just hope Qin Feng would take it easy on them!” He Liming replied, feeling a headache coming on.

“Heh, that sounds right,” Fu Wenjie nodded. “I’m afraid that if these people start taking turns for a fight, even Qin Feng would get tired!”

“Qin Feng should have prepared himself, so let’s just watch!”

As the two spoke, the time was about 12 in the afternoon.

It was the end of winter and they were just starting to see the early signs of spring. It was not cold nor was it hot outside and they were constantly sweeping their gaze across the crowd.

At this moment, a fleet of aircraft in a formation flew into view.

There were two words clearly printed on each one that said ‘Feng Li’.

“He’s here, he’s here!”

“Feng Li is the Governor of the North Sea state’s own organization!”

“Aircrafts are so expensive! How do they have so many?”

“They sell these here, of course there’s a lot!”

More than a dozen aircrafts circled around the valley. One of the aircraft landed on a square landing pad in the valley and when its hatch opened, Qin Feng walked out.

Many people actually recognized him, even more had seen pictures and videos of him before.

Even then, when they actually saw him their eyes lit up with some kind of vigor.

“That’s Qin Feng?”

“This year’s prodigy? He seems so young, no more than twenty years old!”

“So what if he’s a prodigy? Everyone knows that the strongest prodigy is at D-tier, he’s just lucky enough to reach C-tier, but I don’t see how great that is.”

There were people who were surprised by Qin Feng’s appearance and some who were skeptical of him.

He ignored what people thought about him, got off the aircraft and looked around.

In just that simple action, everyone around him felt a huge wave of consciousness sweep over them and made them involuntarily shut up and look at him.

“Since everyone is here, then you all must understand the matter at hand. A few days ago, a powerful spatial rift appeared within my territory. It’s now temporarily under my control and those who are willing to participate can face off against me later on. Those who can beat me in 100 strikes can join me and have the loot split amongst them. The time limit is until 12 at night!”

When Qin Feng finished announcing the rules, he then spat out four more words in a booming voice. “Latecomers will be denied.”

In other words, after this day if anyone tried to come through, Qin Feng would immediately eject them from the vicinity.

These four words were powerful and were full of threat and decisiveness that told everyone present how determined Qin Feng was.

Still, there were many people who were starting to kick up a ruckus.

There were more than two hundred B-tiers present and they all frowned. They only had twelve hours. If that included everyone present it meant that everyone only had three minutes.

This would not do at all but at the same time, the longer you wait the smaller a window you would have. This was not a situation where they could wait until the end and try to claim victory.

Still, they would let others go first. Nobody wanted to be the early bird in this match.

Even if these people did not want to, there would always be brash people about!

“So, who’s dueling me?”

Qin Feng stood still before his aura burst forth, revealing that he was about C7-tier!

Some of the C-tiers suddenly frowned. They were regretting their decision. Not everyone here was as strong as Qin Feng was.

“This guy, Qin Feng, never got his strength verified!”

“He has a C-tier aptitude user’s badge and he’s already C7 tier?”

“Isn’t he a prodigy? How is he so strong yet so young?”

More and more people were suddenly full of bitterness.

In this case, while some people were bothered, there were a few who were not.

“I’m going!”

A figure dropped in, the sign hanging from his chest was clearly visible.

A C9-tier aptitude user!

Boom!

The moment he stepped on the ground his stomp immediately caused the earth beneath him to crack. Obviously this person was an ancient warrior.

“Yang Jing, C9-tier ancient warrior! Please enlighten me!”

The ancient warrior said in a deep voice and immediately started the battle.

Woom!

Yang Jing’s internal force burst forth and surrounded him, and it seemed incredibly solid. It could be seen that the man was in fact very close to becoming a B-tier!

“Very well!” Qin Feng said placidly.

When Yang Jing noticed that his opponent had not released their internal force at all he suddenly felt a twinge of anger, believing that Qin Feng was not taking him seriously.

However, this could be good. All he needed to do was defeat this opponent and he would gain a huge amount of profit.

His eyes glinted with sharp focus and struck forward, a terrifying force blasting out from his palms.

“Tornado Strike!”

Ancient martial arts flowed through him.

Of course, this Tornado Strike was merely his first move. He was still guarded and vigilant against Qin Feng.

After watching Yang Jing attack, Qin Feng also made his move.

An ordinary palm was stuck forward.

Pang!

Two bursts of internal force collided in the air.

Yang Jing was stunned, his internal force was shattered and there was still this blast of internal force heading his way.
