It had intensified its attacks, but I am defending.

Though, it is making me angry. Due to its attacks, the oysters are moving away, while I had laid down markers on them, but I don't want them to go away.

Especially that black pearl oysters.

Seconds passed, and I kept fighting it. Defending against its attack.

I could tell it was getting mad; given its power, it doesn't need such long to finish the opponent, especially those of my size. One of two tentacles is more than enough to finish them off.

It had made a big mistake attacking me and now that it had shown the treasure it; I am not going to let it go.

It will die as it is now becoming as important as the black pearl, or even more than that. I will even sacrifice the pearl for this monster.

Soon, a minute and a half passed when a slime appeared on my face.

It also seemed to sense it as I reacted angrily. It surprised me; I had not thought, it would discover it, but it did. The data from it is going to be delicious; I now want it, even more.

A few more seconds passed, and my strings reached inside.

I didn't bind it; I had sent a single string inside. I was going to kill it, but I had decided it was alive more than valuable.

The dead sample won't be as precious as the live one.

There are many things, I don't understand about it. I will keep it, with, me till I finish solving all the mysteries it had. Then I would kill it and eat it; beneath all the metal, there is soft flesh, and it will be very tasty, seeing the chemical-magical composition.

This unexpected harvest is going to provide me with a lot of benefits. I had seen the initial data, and it had thoroughly impressed me.

My clone has already started collecting samples of different parts of its body, including the thick, powerful metal. Soon, I will start receiving more data, which couldn't help but make me excited.

I wanted to join my clone, but I have a job to do here.

I looked at the directions of the markers and moved toward the one in black. It had gone a little far, but still was within a secluded area.

It took me a few minutes to reach it, and once I did, I began the job, of removing the pearl, without getting discovered.

"It's beautiful," I said a few minutes later as I looked at the black pearl in my hand. I wanted to eat, the shiny little thing. I read it was tasty with a lot of benefits, but I controlled myself.

The benefits of using it through the solution would be much greater than eating it directly.

I put it away with a sigh and went to the other oysters, harvesting the pearls. Though I didn't get the pearl from every one of them, my record is good; around 70% of oysters, I have gone for had the pearls.

Soon, an hour passed, and a few people entered my area.

I remained hidden and continued to harvest. They did the safe, though much bloodier way.

They even ignored the markers for a while, not believing them, but when they didn't get anything from the oysters with the markers, they left them alone and targeted those without them.

One had even nearly got killed. If not for the Sky Sovereign close to him, saved him, he would have become food for that shark.

Oysters are dangerous, but they are not the only ones here. There are other monsters, as powerful as the octopus and even more powerful than it.

It is wise to remain careful.

Minutes passed, and I kept harvesting, till finally it was time to leave. I really don't want to leave; there are still oysters to harvest, but if I don't leave, the ship will leave me, and I don't want that to happen.

So, I sighed and swam up, a little disappointed, but also happy. I got a lot of ekari pearls, including three black pearls, not to mention the octopus.
