Monster Integration

Chapter 3867 Nine Months

Chapter 3867 Nine Months

I maintained the rhythm between the soul, body, and heartbeat, while the seven elements ravaged me.

I am in immense pain, but there is not a single grit or uneven breath. Doing that would be a death sentence here.

So, I bore it, like thousands of times before, and continued.

Finally, after what felt like hours, it was over, and I had opened my eyes. It was only then that I let my heart react naturally, and it started to beat wildly in fear, excitement, and other emotions.

Today, the sea isn't calm; it is intense, with monsters attacking it.

The aura of the prime is prominent and most of the time, it is more than enough to make the monsters, run tuck between its tails, but today isn't such a day.

There is a leader who is guiding them, and this leader is prime.

It had happened a couple of times and Prime had dealt with it and Prime will deal with this one, too. Still, I shouldn't have taken the risk, but I didn't want to miss the practice session even for once.

The ship that usually stays stable, even higher waves are currently shaking. It is also moving through the area that pressures expanded spaces.

So, I needed to practice in the bedroom.

I removed all the stuff and took out the floating disk, on which I practiced. It was not wise of me; seeing I was completely defenseless while thousands of powerful monsters attacked the ship.

If even Sovereign had breached the room. It would have been a game over for me.

Though it wouldn't have happened.

A Sky Sovereign would need, at the least, if they wanted to kill me. A powerful one at that. I had prepared a few things for such contingencies, and they are quite powerful.

I had practiced and got the benefit, taking one more step closer to the limit.

It had been nine months since the voyage began and five months since the breakthrough. I had been practicing daily, not stopping even when the ships docked at the island or stopped to hunt the treasures of the sea.

I am at the physical limit, and I want to reach the forbidden limit as quickly as possible. So, I could make a breakthrough.

I am working on the inheritance; it is where I am spending most of my time. Here, there is no distraction. I could fully focus on my inheritance and the professions, which are what I am doing.

Banng!

I was in my thoughts when, something big crashed against the ship, shaking it hard.

I vaporized all the sweat and impurities clinging to me and walked toward the balcony. It is close, but I could still see what is happening outside and I have to say, those are quite a lot of monsters.

Every type of aquatic monster is attacking the ship from all sides every day.

The shields are at full power and bearing the attacks. Unless the Prime attacks, it would be really hard for the monsters to breach through the shield.

I really hope the prime is ready for the prime monster.

Any other monster could be dealt with. There are a lot of powerful people on the ship, aside from the prime monster. Only prime could.

"All the Sky Sovereigns, please be prepared. We might need you to join the battle,"

The voice of the captain rang out a couple of seconds later. It surprised me, as usually the captain did not give such orders as such, attacks stopped after the ship moved out of the territory of the particular monster.

Till now, in the nine months, we only needed to join the battle at sea only thrice, and they ended pretty quickly.

I don't think this would end quickly.

We are passengers, we have paid for this trip. They won't ask for our help unless they really needed.

I am feeling slightly weak after the practice, but my strength is rapidly returning. In a few minutes, I would be able to project my full strength. It would have been a little worrying if they had called us immediately, but I am still capable of fighting the Sky Sovereigns.

If I sensed the greater than I could handle; I could always defend.

Bang!

I watched more and more monsters attacking. One seahorse monster had crashed on the balcony; it was a powerful crash.

"Attention all Sky Sovereign; the shields will open in the next three seconds. Please prepare for the battle."

Came the captain's voice and I sighed.

A moment later, the armor appeared on my body; it was of the strings. The monsters are powerful and large numbers. Using strings against them isn't the right strategy; I should be more on the defense.

Click!

Exactly three seconds later, the balconies clicked open, and the shields disappeared.

"It's time to kill some monsters," I said and flew out of my room, into the raging sea.

The sea isn't raging naturally; it is monsters doing. It is controlling the water around her, making massive waves crash against us.

The Sky Sovereigns came out of their suits and the decks and moved toward the monsters with fury.

Roar Roar Roar!

The monsters sensed the threat and roared loudly and came at me.

Two came toward a big swordfish with long sharp silvery bills. They are sharp enough that they could easily pierce through my flesh. There is a powerful watery energy covering it, making it even more powerful.

I moved toward them and soon there was less than a meter of distance between us when I attacked.

Puch Puch!

Two strong hands came out, holding two laces, which pierced through the hearts of swordfishes.

I pulled them into my core and moved toward the other monsters.

They are everywhere; their numbers of tens of times more than us; it is even to make Grimms serious.

It made me serious; it is why, I am planning on remaining close to the ship. I don't want to move further away from the ship, where they could surround and kill me.
