Chapter 3903 Ending the Cultists

"You will see," she said with a smile filled with confidence.

A moment later, I felt the power. It stopped the fights, and everybody turned to the cavern or runes that lightning it.

Each rune was filled with massive power. That they have been absorbing for seconds.

They held so much power, that it could kill me in a single attack. Even with the shields, my survival isn't guaranteed.

I am saying to praise her. I know the formation in and out and am aware of what it could do.

The relieved smile appeared on the faces of cultists.

Especially of those who were fighting the two. Now, they are confident, no longer the fear of death present in their eyes.

It is my teammates, who look worried.

"What do you think now?" she asked, and I smiled. "You do aware, that once you used it; the whole place would collapse."

"Other than you, nobody would be able to escape here alive," I replied, and a shock appeared on her face.

The formation is connected to spring water. It needs to be. Seeing the water or energies couldn't be taken out of it without losing the power.

What formation does is create a concentrated beam of it, but when it does, all the power is concentrated on it, weakening every other function, white pulling expression pressure on the cavern.

It will destroy it.

She is the only one, powerful enough, that be able to get away and even she will need to be quick, or the water here will boil her to death.

She controlled her expressions before smiling.

"I know that, and it will be worth it!" she replied, without caring for her people, all of whom were looking at her desperately.

"Leader, don't do this. Think about us!" the old man screamed, but she didn't even look at him.

To her, her own survival matters the most. To survive, she will sacrifice anyone and anything.

"Then do it," I replied.

There was a faint surprise and hesitation before she controlled her expression.

She knew she needed to do this, or she will not survive.

"As you wish," she said, and a moment later, the formation focused on me. I felt its power and knew it could kill me.

She pulled the trigger, and a big smile appeared on her face.

Though that smile only lasted for a fraction of a seconds, before it froze away when she released the formation didn't act on her command.

"Have you thought about how my teammates were able to appear here without your notice?" I asked and moved my fingers.

Immediately, the target of formation changed from me to her.

"This can't be! How is this possible?" she asked in shock. "Everything is possible with knowledge and ingenuity," I replied.

"This can't be happening!" she said, nearly mad as she stepped back.

"It is happening," I replied and moved to activate the trigger. She could sense it as she was connected to the formation.

It is why, her aura exploded, and she began to run toward the exit.

I looked at her power and couldn't help but get faintly surprised. She is hiding a little more than I had expected, but not enough, that will escape.

CLANNG!

I appeared in front of her, and she attacked, which I easily countered.

She is not the one to give up easily and attacked harnessing every bit of power she has.

CLANNG CLANNG CLANNG!

I moved my spear and defended against her attacks. I want to see what she had, give her a chance to use all her power, so that she would taste a despair.

This will be just the start of the true despair she will feel after she enters the organization's custody.

I had heard things, and they are pretty.

Those people will show her genuine despair.

They will take out every thought she has and will make her feel such that she will regret it millions of times. The sins she had committed.

"Die! Why don't you just die!"

She had gone mad. Seeing every door clone in front of me.

She only has one open, and that is me. She will have to kill me, and she is trying to do that with everything she has.

I should stop her, but I am collecting the data.

I had put a seed inside her, which she would have sensed if she had been in the right mind, but she is not.

I want to see how that harvested power worked. It will help me in finding a cultist like her.

Seconds passed and turned into minutes. She keeps attacking while cultists watch.

They hate her for what, she was planning to do, but they were also hoping with everything they had, she would win.

It is the only way, they will be able to get out of here, safely.

My hands moved the spear, while I looked at the meta scan. Her body had been replaced with a meta-scan; I could see everything, that was happening inside her.

I am focusing on the specific parts. The very tiny ones that took me days to find out about others.

They are the only proof; I have of them be cultists.

I have to collect enough days; I will be able to see them in seconds instead of days.

The data I am getting will be immensely helpful.

"I will kill you!"

She screamed for a few minutes later, and I sighed. I moved my spear this time, not to defend, but to deal with her.

She is moving toward burning her core. I can't let that happen.

She released what was happening and moved her saber to my spear, but I knew everything about her and was able to easily avoid her saber.

It pierced through her chest, stopping what she was trying to do.

The despair filled the eyes of cultists seeing that, and they tried to self-destruct but began to fall down unconscious.

I waved my hand, and the steely ball came out and moved toward them.

As they touched them, they melted and covered them fully.

I have created these bindings myself, and once covered by them; it is extremely hard to get out.
