My Mage System (BL)

474 Was it really worth selling your soul to the devil ?

This time, Axel the wolf used the partial transformation and his hand transformed into a giant black paw and he grabbed the Alpha’s wolf head with it and said to him: “If that’s all it takes to make you happy, then so be it!”

Paul didn’t have time to react when he felt a force like he had never experienced before smash his skull, and the only thought he had while losing consciousness was how could this young wolf have known what he was thinking?

Axel the wolf who had just smashed his skull against the ground with his wolf paw, had been careful not to kill him, and he also made sure that the wound was serious enough to make him lose consciousness.

When the judge declared him the winner by KO, he conjured up a healing potion of legendary grade in his hand that he had just bought directly from the store of Kevin’s system and he forced Paul to drink it.

After this fight, he defeated the next 3 Alphas very quickly and when it was the turn of the 6th Alpha, he immediately felt that something was wrong with this one.

He immediately contacted his father, Colin and Kevin and told them what he had discovered, ‘This Alpha is different from the others, I can feel that his soul has been corrupted… Dad, could it be a Werewolf under Cassandra’s command?’

Mykael immediately replied to him, ‘No son, at least he doesn’t have any mark of a God on him, and if his soul has been corrupted, then I think he is more likely to be another one of Lilith’s experiments.’

Kevin agreed with Mykael, Cassandra didn’t have the ability to corrupt souls, so he said to him, ‘Don’t take any unnecessary risks, if you need it, use your father’s bloodline and your Divine wolf right away.’

Axel the wolf immediately reassured him by saying, ‘Don’t worry my mate, I’ll be careful.’

Colin quickly added before the countdown was over, ‘Your father and I will both strengthen the energy shield so even with your 2 bloodlines activated, without using the strange powers of your tattoos of course, it should hold.’

Axel the wolf thanked them and then he smirked at his opponent, asking him as the countdown was coming to an end : “Tell me, Alpha of the North Mountains Pack, was it really worth selling your soul to the devil?”

Axel the wolf had deliberately provoked him to try to see if he had had a choice or not, because after all, his own mother had had no choice but to deceive a God for her own survival and the one of her pack.

But when he saw the creepy smile that appeared on the face of this Alpha, he could feel that he had made this choice himself, because he wanted more power and to become the master of the Werewolves of this world.

Only, apparently Lilith and Cassandra either didn’t know that the Supreme Alpha had to be killed so that another one could take his place, or they had not been in a hurry to make him the master of the Werewolves, because after all they could have killed his grandfather at any time.

But the fact that Lilith was so interested in the Werewolves of this world was not a good sign.

Perhaps she too had realized that with their numbers she could use them in battle.

Because even though they were not very powerful, Werewolves always fought in group and had a flawless coordination, as well as an immense respect for the established hierarchy which made them the perfect weapon if she controlled the Supreme Alpha.

Kevin, who could follow Axel’s thoughts, frowned and Mykael asked him again with the help of the communication stones, ‘What’s wrong son? Did you have a vision?’

Kevin shook his head slightly and explained Axel the wolf’s reasoning to him, then finally he asked, ‘Do you know any other worlds like this one, filled with Werewolves? If Lilith and Cassandra didn’t kill Axel’s grandfather just so they could study him, maybe other worlds weren’t as lucky as theirs.’

He added then, ‘If Lilith can control Supreme Alphas then this new threat cannot be ignored.’

Mykael then said to him, ‘I know some of them, but I need Axel to determine if the soul of the Supreme Alpha have been corrupted or not, it is something I am unable to do on my own.’

p anda nOvel.cO,m Kevin immediately replied, ‘Alright, we’ll go with you, and once we return in our world we’ll have to tell my Master about this discovery.’

Mykael looked at him sideways and asked him curious, ‘Why do you always call him Master? You saw how he acted with the others, so you know you are very special to him.’

Kevin blushed slightly uncomfortable and told him, ‘Well, we didn’t really talk about it together, so even though our relationship is closer than a master to his student, I can’t just call him ‘dad’ like that, right? It will be a little awkward.’

Mykael smiled at him and said, ‘I’m sure he’d be extremely pleased if you call him like that…’

Mykael and Kevin then didn’t add anything else because the fight was about to begin and they had to stay focused just in case they needed to intervene.

The only thing that was reassuring was that Kevin for the moment had not had a vision, so that meant that Axel the wolf was able to deal with this threat alone.

3…, 2…., 1…, Fight!

Axel the wolf and this Alpha both remained in their human form and Axel the wolf could see like black filaments mixed with the silver aura of this Alpha.

When the latter attacked, he was by far the fastest and strongest Alpha he had had to face, but for the moment he did not need to call upon his father’s bloodline to fight him.

They were moving so fast that most Werewolves could only see flashes of silver light and heard thunderous blasts every time they exchanged blows.
