My Secretary is a Little Sweet

Chapter 601 - Difficulties

Chapter 601: Difficulties

Jing Zhongxiu was leading four helicopters, ten snipers and ten advanced, fully trained, martial artists plus two doctors when he arrived at the location where Jing Yichen was.

Jing Zhongxiu had only brought the finest men along with him on the helicopter.

Lu followed Jing Zhongxiu in with a gun in her hands, dressed in the tight-fitting outfit.

Over the cellar that trapped Jing Yichen, was an abandoned factory with dozens of strong men guarding it. Lu plus ten snipers used only five minutes to finish everyone there.

When they entered the factory, they found that there were numerous bodies lying everywhere.

The factory was enormous with several entries. At some of the entries there were already five or six black-dressed men.

As they saw Jing Zhongxiu, they all bowed to him but didn’t say anything.

Jing Zhongxiu could not help but get surprised at the sight of these men.

Jing Yichen had already made sure that his men arrived ahead of time. That made Jing Zhongxiu feel a bit reassured.

His son had finally grown up. He had learnt to be prepared. He must have anticipated what would happen in the following days, otherwise these men could not have arrived so fast.

Jing Zhongxiu asked them about their search. Listening to them, he realised that there were way too many entries here, and each of them led to a different cellar. Some would explode, some would emit poisonous gas, some were neutral while some shut people in.

They had come in groups. The first group included 200 people and the death rate had already reached 90%.

There were 600 in the second group, and half were already dead inside.

Jing Zhongxiu finally understood why Tang Shunian had not been afraid of being exposed through phone tracking.

He had got multiple traps ready for them inside.

And even if they knew that it was a trap, they had to enter there, because the location showed that Jing Yichen was underground. Shangguan Ning had talked with Jing Yichen not long ago. Although Tang Shunian’s location had changed, Jing Zhongxiu believed that Tang Shunian left without Jing Yichen. He still must be here somewhere.

The passages that connected the ground and the cellar were like a large maze. It was almost impossible to get out once a man entered, and was risky as well.

In order to find the correct path, someone had to lead them in, or they would need numerous men to try each passage.

Jing Zhongxiu had been extremely furious after getting to know that Jing Yichen was missing.

When the Tang Family betrayed the Jing Family back then, it was he who bankrupted the Tang Family. Although the Jing Family had lost tremendously back then, yet the root was not impacted, so Jing Zhongxiu did not kill everyone in the Tang Family.

But now it seemed that he should have killed them all!

No matter what happened in the past, there was no time to feel regret. Jing Zhongxiu hated it when Tang Shunian had extracted revenge on Jing Yichen instead of him, because he would go through the pain rather than seeing his son being troubled.

Jing Zhongxiu knew what Jing Yichen had been through, and did not want him to experience that torture again.

Instead of letting the ten snipers seek the path, Jing Zhongxiu rearranged the martial artists and several elites so they could go into the passages.

When those men were organised, he sent the order to his men to come to the spot as quickly as possible.

Then, he and Lu found an entry and entered.

Ordinary gas would not affect Jing Zhongxiu and Lu. He had been trained and had a strong defense against drugs whilst the other was full of virus herself, unaffected by any poison.

The two of them searched five underground passages. Apart from one that injured them slightly, they went through the rest easily.

But as they went deeper into the underground, they found that the place had been built into a beehive with all kinds of underground passages that were interlinked. There was no way to find a clear direction and the signal was too bad to make a phone call.

After half an hour of search, Jing Zhongxiu brought Lu back to the ground.

It would take at least five days for them to go through all the passages. The real entry must be one of them, too dangerous and difficult to reach.

This was an inefficient and time consuming way. Jing Yichen must be in grave danger down there. Every minute would increase the danger. Also, if Tang Shunian had been following his previous method, he would not have stored any food or water down there, but numerous crazy men who threw themselves upon Jing Yichen.

Jing Yichen would be starved to death.

Jing Zhongxiu had trained Jing Yichen strictly, in the desert and isolated island, forcing him to eat all kinds of stuff just to survive. But that did not mean that he would be willing to make his son drink human blood!

Jing Yichen’s suffering made his heart ache. He did not want his son to go through these disgusting things.

Maybe Shangguan Ning could get them a real breakthrough.

Jing Zhongxiu wanted to call Shangguan Ning and ask how she was doing and if she was safe, but her phone was constantly busy.

Instead of calling again, he waited for Shangguan Ning to call him back.

Shangguan Ning must be in the conversation with Tang Shunian, otherwise she would not have rejected his call. She was more worried than him about Jing Yichen.

Shangguan Ning had seen the incoming call from Jing Zhongxiu and was trying to end the conversation with Tang Shunian.

“Mr. Tang, what about me giving you 100 billion now, and you keep the promise of not hurting my husband and letting me meet him.”

Tang Shunian chuckled and showed a sinister smile as he asked calmly, “Jing Zhongxiu is calling you now, right? You are in a hurry to report my situation to him, isn’t it? Oh well, you better tell him that he and the men Jing Yichen brought with him, are still alive. I will let you and the old guy speak, because this would be the last time you speak with him. He will soon be a corpse!”
