Never Judge

Chapter 594 - 594

"So what really happened?" Cedric asked as a breeze blew through the garden they were in.

Dave frowned and sighed. "It's not like they say -"

They were suddenly interrupted when Adrianna arrived together with the school administrator and some of the other parents.

"Honey, it's time to continue the tour." Adrianna said with a smile as she approached Cedric.

Cedric nodded and signaled Dave to follow him.

"We'll discuss this later." Cedric said in a low voice. "Are you good to continue?"

"Yes, sir." Dave said with a nod as he followed Cedric towards the school facilities.

"Do you still have enough energy to continue the tour?" Cedric asked his wife as he hugged her and planted a kiss on her head.

Adrianna nodded.

"It's the last one." She said as she freed herself from Cedric's arms.

"We thought you would like to observe the students in class." The school administrator said as he gestured towards a building that looked like it housed the kindergarten students.

"That would be great Mr. Smith." Cedric said with a nod as he walked side by side with the school administrator.

Inside the building, Cedric could see as the children worked silently on their desks, seemingly busy drawing something.

"Aren't they a bit too behaved?" Dave whispered to Cedric, hinting at something.

"Mr. Smith, I have a question." Cedric said to the man next to him. "I feel that my son is more advanced than these children, I want him to be moved directly to the first grade." Cedric said as he maintained his cold demeanor.

"If you feel sir that your son is ready for the first grade then we will not hesitate to place him there." The school administrator said with a nod.

Cedric looked at Dave with a raised eyebrow, the man next to him simply shrugged.

"Can we see the first grade students?" Cedric asked, returning his attention to the school administrator. "I would like to see how my son's future classmates could be."

"But, sir, we might interrupt their class." The school administrator said hesitantly.

"Aren't we disrupting these students as well?" Cedroc asked in a stern tone, hoping to intimidate the school administrator into agreeing. "Are you hiding something Mr. Smith?" Cedric asked, questioning the man's integrity, pushing him a little bit more to nod and agree.

They were brought back to the building where they had been before. The school administrator explained that this was where their elementary students held classes and the building behind it is where their high school classrooms were located.

"Before we take a look at the elementary classes, please understand that children are most unruly at this age." Mr. Smith said as he waited for Cedric or Adrianna to respond.

He was surprised when Dave was the one that responded for Cedric instead.

"Mr. Reyes understands how children behave at this age." Dave suddenly said.

"Yes, sir." The school administrator said in a clearly nervous tone as he unintentionally called Dave sir.

"I see you are learning." Cedric said with a grin as he nodded at his assistant.

"I do it when you aren't around." Dave said with a shrug. "Mae can be scarier though."

"Little sweet Mae?" Cedric asked with a raised eyebrow, to which Dave simply responded with a laugh.

"Yes, that Mae." Dave nodded. "As your assistants we can't be pushovers, and we can't be too friendly either. We are a reflection of you."

"Ian taught you?" Cedric asked.

"Camilla." Dave said, shaking his head. "She told us about a time when people looked down at her and mocked her for being just an assistant."

"I never knew that Camilla had to go through that." Cedric said with a frown.

"She's a woman." Dave said with a shug as they neared the classrooms.

"Sir, here are our first grade classes." Mr. Smith said as he directed Cedric's attention to the large window along the hall, allowing parents and guests to catch a glimpse of the class.

Cedric wasn't surprised to see several students being unruly while the teacher continued to write on the board.

He wasn't uncomfortable seeing some students slacking off, it seemed to be a normal class to Cedric.

"I don't see why you were so worried about showing me the first graders Mr. Smith." Cedric said with a laugh that seemed to put the school administrator and the other teachers at ease.

"They are kids, even I slacked off in school when I was younger." Cedric added as he looked into the classroom.

"Great!" Mr. Smith said with a smile. "We were so concerned that you wanted students acting the proper grown up way."

"It's alright Mr. Smith." Cedric said, shaking his head.

"Do you mind if we continue the tour then?" Mr. Smith asked.

"Sure." Cedric said with a nod as Mr. Smith led them towards the elevator. He wanted to show Cedric and Adrianna the labs.

"Do you mind if I use the bathroom?" Cedric asked.

"No, of course not." Mr. Smith said, shaking his head. "Turn right then left, then it's at the end of the hall."

"Thanks." Cedric said as he walked towards the direction Mr. Smith had pointed.

"Stay with Adri and the others." Cedric instructed Leon as he noticed the bodyguard move to follow him. "It's a school, Leon. I'm sure I can handle a bunch of grade schoolers if they attack." Cedric teased.

Leon hesitantly agreed and returned to Adrianna's side.

Cedric eventually found the restroom and laughed when he saw how low the stalls were. He decided to use one of the cubicles in order to not make students uncomfortable if they accidentally came in.

While he was finishing up he heard a few students enter.

Cedric decided to stay and listen in on their conversation. He had no plans of letting Emilio study in this school, but he still wanted to learn more.

"The teacher said to behave." One boy said to his companions.

"Shhh." Another one said, scolding him. "That rich ass guy is gone for sure. We can behave like normal."

"Quick, drag him in." An angry kid's voice said, shocking Cedric.
