Chapter 1550 Chapter 1543: Four Galaxies; Abyssal Race

"You've been reluctant to use your Neo-Dawn Vortex-Zone Pellets before without explaining to me why not, but now you're willing to do so. Do you feel less confident about this journey?" The Heavenly War Spirit probed. Earlier, Wei Wuyin was adamant about not using his Vortex-Zones or his subordinates to create a space of accelerated time, and all her attempts to argue had been shot down without any answers as to why.

Wei Wuyin was outrageously talented and extremely wealthy, especially after his Stellar-Paragon Physique had been established and he claimed the Ancient Sealed Region as his. Even before then, he had copious amounts of resources and precious materials that were unthinkable for a mere mortal to possess, many of which were in vast quantities and quantities. Furthermore, Wei Wuyin's Eye of Creation was a subtle yet indescribable means for converting low-graded resources into higher-graded resources. The higher his cultivation base rose, the higher the quality of materials he would be able to create using the Eye of Creation. Transforming a single qi-grade herb into an astral-grade herbal was fundamentally heaven-defying.

With all his tools and means, what he lacked most was time. After all, he was a recognized Worldly Saint Alchemist, a stage of the Alchemic Dao that focused upon the middle and upper-stages of the Mystic Ascendant Realm while his cultivation base was only at the Star Core Phase, the ninth stage of the Astral Core Realm. Following the laws of the Alchemic Dao, a product of a single tier higher was excessively beneficial to those beneath them. If Wei Wuyin was to use Mystic-World graded products to nourish his current cultivation base, a full two tiers higher, the results were bound to be world-defying!

"Less confident?" Wei Wuyin muttered at the question. With more information about the Treasured Vale Galaxy and the Blessed Yri Empire's stance on his existence, this would definitely invoke all sorts of panic and uncertainty within one's heart. Unfortunately for them, Wei Wuyin never intended to go in nicely and negotiate.

"No. I just didn't have all the pieces before."

"Before?"

"Yeah. My cultivation base hadn't consolidated yet so I didn't have a grasp on my foundational baseline or limitations and I was still trying to conceive a Mystic-tier variant of the Neo-Dawn Vortex-Zone Pellet for my personal use." Wei Wuyin clarified. These two were the most important reasons. Only after consolidating his cultivation base could he understand his exact standards and needs, including how to exceed them. The Mystic-tier variant of the pellet was to see if he could devise a way to advance his understanding of or proficiency in using the Minor Time Law while within.

"I see," the Heavenly War Spirit was half-convinced by those words. However, she felt there were definitely more reasons that Wei Wuyin wasn't willing to talk about. She didn't pry, settling for that reasonable explanation.

After handling the urges of Liu Suyin and Cao Cuifen thoroughly, Wei Wuyin issued last-minute orders after Su Mei had devised a proper route toward the Treasured Vale Galaxy using the information given by Young Master Shang. The Treasured Vale Galaxy was four galaxies away from the Azure-Prime Galactic Zone, otherwise known as the Onestar Galaxy. It had yet to be renamed after the One-Star Era where a single Solar Star bestowed radiance across an entire galaxy, almost turning a single galaxy into a starfield-esque environment.

Supposedly, the naming of a galaxy or its renaming required a single entity to seize control over its entirety. If not, it would be decided by the heavens' will and the Mortal Dao's laws. The naming of the Onestar Galaxy was determined by the heavens using the natural beliefs of its inhabitants, which coincided with the will of its mortals and the name of its most recent era.

After the Ascended Sovereigns claimed control over the Onestar Galaxy and joined together to oversee the Azure-Prime Galactic Zone, they weren't qualified to rename the galaxy. However, due to the Azure-Prime Galactic Zone's region of control, the Onestar Galaxy was properly divided into three regions.

That said, the four galaxies of distance were an almost ridiculous amount of distance. Even if an Earthly Saint wanted to traverse through these galaxies and could survive all the dangers along the way, they likely would die before reaching their destination. Without Stellar Transit Light or something similar, it was almost impossible to traverse. Moreover, there were large swaths of space where Stellar Transit Light was unable to be used, especially in regards to colonized Galactic Zones. Using the same logic as Void Gates, countless Galactic Zones have spatial defenses to prevent sporadic and sudden invasions from foreign forces.

While the formation leading to the Battlefield was unhindered unanimously by any reasonable force among the civilized galaxies, all other Stellar Transit Lights needed unique permissions.

It took Young Master Shang and the elderly man four years of nonstop travel and paying a lot of unreasonably expensive tolls, subjected to many different investigations, and often delayed by a few fox-ish individuals who wanted to expand their network or cozy to a Sage like Teng Jiangwen for favors or pointers.

"Due to Teng Jiangwen's cultivation base at the True Sage Phase, those who gave us inspections reined in their arrogant attitudes. If you want, letting him out to act as a shield from wherever you have him will make things more convenient." Young Master Shang told Su Mei, but the latter only gave him a glance of helplessness. Did he think Teng Jiangwen was still alive? She had his corpse!

She was too lazy to explain but did take note of this as she eyed Qing Qiumu, Yue Songli, and Ming Shufeng. These three women were starfield-toppling beauties that could draw ungodly levels of attention, especially Yue Songli whose beauty and sexual appeal were at levels that could invoke the lust of any man.

The thought of hiding them by sealing them in an isolated space briefly flashed across her mind, but when she considered the circumstances that Wei Wuyin had described Qing Qiumu's mental state and Yue Songli's desire for freedom and expression, the thought was squashed immediately. Wei Wuyin would sooner destroy worlds than let them be caged again.

She knew him all too well.

The four galaxies that they needed to pass were named, in order: White Abyssal Galaxy, Sky Heart Galaxy, No-Name Galaxy, and Utmost Purity Galaxy. These were only galaxy names, while their Galactic Zones had different names depending on their respective forces, races, and cultures.

"The White Abyssal Galaxy was named after its Absolute Void Region that is entirely white. It's at the heart of the galaxy and is said to be the greatest zone of danger and fortune within," Young Master Shang explained. "The Galactic Zones all take the character 'abyssal' in their naming sense. Additionally, it is populated by a mix of Abyssal, Human, hybrids, Beastmen, and Demon Races, with humans being the majority due to their amazing procreation abilities.

"Abyssal Race?"

"Yep. The Abyssal Race is an extraordinary race not inferior to humans, celestial, or titans when it comes to cultivation. They either have white skin, some pasty and pale, others a little darker and distinct, or black skin and their irises are all of a brighter shade, such as bright red, bright green, and even bright yellow, and are said to be able to see in regions of absolutely no light as mere mortals. Their procreation rate isn't that much inferior to humans, but they do have shorter lifespans than the average human mortal by about a third.

"The heavens are fair, however. They all have the unique ability to survive in regions of chaos mana and are immune to the Chill of the Dark Void even as mortals. Moreover, when they advance to the Mystic Ascendant Realm, the majority of them almost intuitively grasp the Way of Mysticism: Mana.

"Moreover, even before reaching the Sky Ruler Phase, many of them can fly relying on ambient mana throughout heaven and earth at the Qi Condensation Realm. This might seem irrelevant to strong cultivators like us, but remember-cultivation is difficult, and so every advantage matters in all stages of competition and cultivation."

Young Master Shang took many sips as he 'educated' Su Mei. The Abyssal Race's innate abilities were fascinating.

"Oh! They don't look much different from humans either. But unlike humans or demons, they can't procreate between species freely if it's not with a human or demon." Young Master Shang elaborated after almost forgetting this important detail.

Wei Wuyin knew that the large majority of the Everlore Starfield had a mixture of various races, where even Bo-Kay had part human, part elven, and part demon lineages within him. Meanwhile, Zuhei was a beastmen whose ancestral lineage was of a human and a beast.

Every race had their unique advantages. For example, the human race's advantage was the ability to either impregnate or get pregnant by other races, assimilating their advantages into their lineage and rapidly populating an area. The advantages of an aquatic lineage as a human were like siphoning off heaven's gift to the aquatic race.

Wei Wuyin had always thought that this quality made humans a terrifying race. For example, he, Xue Yifei, and Nyla Shur had become hybrids that could take the paths of a human and a beast to further their strength beyond conventional limits. They were stealing heaven's fortune meant for another race due to their human lineage.

It was quite fierce.

Su Mei made sure to inform Wei Wuyin of these details. While Wei Wuyin was cultivating, despite Cao Cuifen's misunderstanding earlier, she led the Minor Elysium and none of the Prime Ascendants objected.

-----

Wei Wuyin stood before a table dressed in full alchemist attire with his Alchemic Stars of Transcendent Purity and Celestial Eyes of Spiritual Divinity activated. The Neo-Dawn Ascension Cauldron on the table exuded a dense alchemical aura that could enrich the mind of any Alchemist. Surrounding this alchemical chamber was a zone of irregular flow of time.

A Vortex-Zone!

Floating within the cauldron was a pill that emanated a soulful fragrance that stimulated the soul, rotating quietly around the center of the cauldron as Utmost Purity Mist swirled beautifully around it.

The Soul Pill! A Mystic-Heaven grade product!

While it was only low-tier at the lowest quality, it was an extraordinary product designed for those at the Resonant Soul Realm! Those beyond Sages! However, it could allow those at the True Sage Phase to enter the True Soul Phase and even grant them a small opportunity to ascend to the Resonant Soul Realm! It was extraordinary.

"This is an impure-quality pill for sure, Master." Bai Xiu had been analyzed for about four hours, and after thoroughly inspecting the contents, she determined that the pill had impurities!

"It really is hard to tell at first glance but you were right. The pill might seem to be low-quality, but the impurities are just extremely hidden. This pill has flaws, and these flaws are not minor." Bai Xiu knew the principle of impurity when it came to products of the Alchemic Dao, and that the higher the grade and tier of a product, the denser, fiercer, and most sinister the impurities within. After all, these impurities survived the terrifying process of concoction.

The vast majority of products on the market were impure. After all, even low-quality products had zero impurities and zero ill-effects within them, which was an exceptional feat to achieve for any Alchemist. San Yongli once used her Cauldron of Utmost Awakening to mitigate this, allowing her to purify all the impure products she came across and allowing her to forge a conventionally unprecedented foundation with peak-quality products that could withstand consuming the essence blood of a Heavenly Saint as a mortal and live.

When Xue Yifei was 'housed' by the Golden Life Pavilion and taken care of, her demands for low, high, and peak-quality products were so excessive that even the entirety of the Golden Life Pavilion had difficulties delivering on time or at all. She had been inadvertently spoiled by Wei Wuyin and that realization allowed her to see Wei Wuyin's extraordinary qualities and feel how much he cared for her.

When most cultivators saw a product with less than ten percent impurities, they would feel as if they had found gold. This was something many amongst the Ascendants forgot due to Wei Wuyin's absurdly high standards and quantity of resources, and why becoming an Ascendant was the desire of many. While this Soul Pill was completed and could be taken, even providing the effects of a Soul Pill, its effectiveness would be reduced and the impurities could affect one's cultivation speed, combat strength, flow of energies, quality of energies, health, lifespan, and even soulspan. Oftentimes the reduction of combat strength was barely felt as the improvement one received was slightly greater, and this led to a mystifying belief of getting stronger only for one to realize that they were unfathomably weaker than true experts and that gap couldn't be made up for.

Wei Wuyin sighed. The Soul Pill was indeed a flawed pill. While this standard was a heavenly blessing for those like Teng Jiangwen, Wei Wuyin wouldn't dare consider this anything but trash for now.

"I'll work on purifying it using the Eighth Source Transcendence Spell," Wei Wuyin decided.

"The amount of Utmost Purity Mist that would be required would be monstrous, Master. It could take years, even decades." Bai Xiu calculated based on what she knew of the spell's effects. Additionally, she was somewhat reluctant given that she ate Utmost Purity Mist. That was her food source for her cultivation.

"Hm," Wei Wuyin knew that she was right. The Eighth Source Transcendence Spell can elevate quality post-production and it had been refined and improved many times, allowing its current version to be incredible, but the consumption of Utmost Purity Mist was still considerable. "We'll see."

Bai Xiu could only accept Wei Wuyin's decision. After all, he was the provider of Utmost Purity Mist. As long as he concocted products, she had no reason to worry about her food source depleting at all.

Wei Wuyin carefully kept the Soul Pill for now. Instead, he took out an exquisite jade box and slowly opened it.

A gushing wave of enriched essence flooded the room.

"A Neo-Dawn Eclipsing-World Pill!" Bai Xiu exclaimed joyously. She was excited to the extreme! It was finally time!

Wei Wuyin looked at this product that he had created during the Neo-Dawn Alchemic Expo, a low-tier Mystic-World graded pill.

One of the three essential products for his future cultivation!

The unprecedented, heaven-defying cultivation of using Mystic-World products as a mere Mortal!
