Peerless Battle Spirit

Chapter 1039 – One More Time

Chapter 1039 – One More Time

Longhu, the name hidden deep inside Qin Nan’s memory.

The guy who was lecherous, shameless, brazen, with two big lumps on his head in his human form, giving him a hilarious appearance.

However, due to the shocking incident, the two had chosen different paths.

“Mm, I’ve got it. Princess, you should accompany my father, I’ve got something to do.”

Qin Nan stood up and left instantly.

“This little brat…”

Qin Tian was left speechless.

Qin Nan walked out from the hall and his figure entered a rift with a flicker. He glanced down at the entire Qin Clan.

“Will of the Divine God of Battle and the Heaven-Shattering Saber, hear my command and merge with the land, protecting it at all cost!”

Qin Nan groaned as he fired the will of the Divine God of Battle and the Heaven-Shattering Saber to establish an invisible formation.

The entire formation shuddered as if it was going through some tremendous changes.

The cultivators nearby could feel their hearts shuddering as they subconsciously took a few steps back from the Qin Clan. For some reason, it had become more intimidating than before.

“My will, unleash!”

Qin Nan did not stop there. He sat down with his legs crossed and flicked two drops of blood from his finger.

Unlike ordinary blood, he had merged his will, etc. into the blood, thus they were like his clones. If the Qin Clan were in a grave danger, the two drops of blood would defend it with shocking force.

With a wave, Qin Nan fired the drops of blood into Qin Tian and Tie San’s bodies without them noticing.

“Not enough!”

Qin Nan took a deep breath and gathered his intent. With a thought, he separated a part of it.

This was the same step that was required when producing Monarch Talismans.

The difference was that Qin Nan had placed his will on their bodies.

As he placed several streams of his will on Qin Tian, Tie San, and some of the elders of the Qin Clan, he finally let out a relieved sigh.

His face was pale white while his forehead was covered in sweat.

Such methods required a great effort in order to be completed.

“However, with these protections, even if they were to send someone else, I wouldn’t need to worry that my father would be in danger.”

Qin Nan let out a smile.

If his enemies sent some peak Martial Sacred Realm experts to murder his father, his will alone could easily eliminate them. However, if they were able to send Martial Progenitors or Martial Monarchs without alerting the Spirit of the Eastern Continent, the Martial Serendipity Pavilion would still interfere.

Although he was unable to track its location, Qin Nan was confident that the Martial Serendipity Pavilion had been looking after his family all the time.

Qin Nan insisted on coming as he did not want to trouble the Martial Serendipity Pavilion when his enemies were only sending Martial Highness or Martial Sacred Realm cultivators.

After cultivating for two hours, Qin Nan finally recovered his strength, before he returned to the Qin Clan.

He was not in a rush to leave, thus he decided to have dinner together with the Princess, Qin Tian, and Tie San.

The dinner consisted of ordinary dishes and wine, but it felt extremely satisfying to him, as if nothing could be compared to it.

“Qin Nan, you’re a true man. Remember to take good care of the Princess. Don’t worry about us, and don’t waste your time coming back. Go out there and show the world everything you’ve got…”

Under Qin Tian’s reminder, Qin Nan and Princess Miao Miao finally left the Qin Clan.

Qin Nan was relived after resolving his concerns. He suddenly noticed an extra bracelet on Princess Miao Miao’s hand, “Why are you wearing a bracelet like this?”

It was not Qin Nan’s fault, as even though the bracelet was made of some extremely precious white jade, it was worthless among the artifacts of the Middle Continent.

“What do you mean by that?” Princess Miao Miao glared at him as she raised her arm and stared at the bracelet, before she let out a smile, “Your father gave it to me. No matter how ordinary it is, it’s the most precious thing for me.”

“My father gave it to you?”

Qin Nan was startled. What was he thinking?

Although Qin Nan had put most of his focus on cultivation, he was not too dumb to realize the meaning his father’s action implied.

After pondering for a while, Qin Nan turned around and stared at the Princess’ beautiful face, causing his heart to race slightly. He immediately shook his head to get rid of his thoughts.

Now was not the time to think about that.

“Princess, I’m going to the Longhu Mountain Range.” Qin Nan suddenly said.

“Mm?” Princess Miao Miao stared at Qin Nan for quite a while, before she said with a nod, “Sure, I’ll go with you.”

The two soon arrived above the Longhu Mountain Range.

The mountain range that had used to be terrifying for Qin Nan was currently nothing worth mentioning in his eyes. With a glance, he was able to observe every detail easily.

“There’s a cave there.”

Qin Nan dashed forward and soon arrived at a hidden valley.

The valley had a giant cave, and on the surface of the wall outside were a few characters.

‘龙虎洞天’ (Longhu Cave)!

Princess Miao Miao observed the words quietly. She knew there were some things she should not say at times like this.

Qin Nan took a deep breath and entered the cave.

The cave was filled with powerful formations, but none of them could stop Qin Nan’s advance. He ventured deep into it and soon came upon a chamber.

The chamber was decorated with many objects, resulting in quite a messy sight. At its center was a futon, which was obviously used for someone to cultivate on.

Qin Nan simply scanned around and saw many drawings of beautiful women on the wall, who were all naked.

“That asshole…” Princess Miao Miao’s face blushed as she instinctively cursed.

Qin Nan coughed and observed the chamber.

The final stream of Qi had disappeared in the morning. In other words, Longhu had already left the chamber when Qin Nan had made his way to the Eastern Continent.

“He left.” Qin Nan said.

“Mm.” Princess Miao Miao nodded before she discovered something, “There seems to be a line of words beside the futon.”

Qin Nan raised his eyebrows as he went forward. There was indeed a line of words there.

The problem was that the words were extremely tiny, thus Qin Nan had failed to discover it at first.

Qin Nan fell silent as he took a closer look.

Princess Miao Miao poked her head out and read softly, “If I were given a chance to go through it one more time, I might not be able to escape from the control of my evil intentions, but I would never harm him. I would rather harm myself, but there’s no such chance…”

The Princess’s voice slowly disappeared as she read the last phrase.

The entire place fell into a dead silence.

Qin Nan remained stationary like a statue.

After a prolonged period, the Princess asked softly, “Do you…still hate him?”

Qin Nan glanced at her quietly.

He clearly knew that Longhu had written the sentence for him.

Qin Nan took a deep breath and curled his finger. He swiped across the wall, leaving the character 兄 (xiong) on the wall. (T.L. Note: 兄弟 means brother).

“What does that mean?” Princess Miao Miao opened her eyes wide.

Qin Nan smiled.

He had only left a single character, to let Longhu complete the word himself.

Hate?

He had long forgiven him.

He had chosen to let Longhu go as he was clueless as for how to face him.

He had never been a saint. He would feel troubled after being betrayed by his own brother without a doubt, even if Longhu was controlled by some evil intent.

“I hope we’ll reunite one day…and continue to stir a great chaos in the world together!”

Qin Nan murmured before he glanced at the Princess with flickering eyes.

“Let’s go, it’s time for us to return to the Desolated Battle Ground.”

The safety of his family was now secured.

He also knew the whereabouts of his long-lost friend.

It was time for him to try his best, to claim the peak of the Monarch Ranking!
