Reborn As A Dragon Girl With A System

Chapter 828: Heading Back To The Sect

Chapter 828: Heading Back To The Sect

“Young human girl, you have my thanks.” The human faced fish gave Kana a bow. He had met her not long ago, but now here she was so much more powerful that even he was unable to tell how high her strength truly was. All he knew was that she had power enough to stand her ground in the lower realms of the Void of Oblivion.

“I made a promise, and my promises are something I will try to keep no matter what. I am glad you and your people are safe. The chaos energy here is gone. I now control it and turned it into a proper element. You can now live free and not be bound to this little river.” Kana hoped the human faced fish could live more freely now instead of being confined to a small space like this river.

“While we can now roam as we please, I do not wish to leave this river. It has been my kinds home since we were forced to come to this world so long ago. But this does not mean we can not venture around and check out new sights. You have my sincerest gratitude.”  The human faced fished once more bowed his head.

Kana scratched her nose, feeling a bit embarrassed. “I must return. Maybe one day we will meet again.”

“Farewell.”

Back at the mystic realm entrance Lord Yong was still waiting with the other sect elders and sect disciples. They dared not leave their current location due to what was going on. The old man that appeared out of nowhere was the old man Elder Ning told him about. And Elder Ning said that if he was hurt, then whatever they were fighting was something that none of them could take on without dying.

“Hey Lord Yong, why are you making such a scary face?” A voice came from beside Lord Yong, who was lost in deep thought, causing him to jump out of his skin.

“Ahhh! Can you not do that!?” Lord Yong yelled as he turned and looked at Kana with an aggrieved expression. He had not been scared like that in hundreds of years. But what he did not understand was how she could sneak up on him like that.

“Haha! Why are all the old men so jumpy lately? Anyway… The crisis is over, so we can go back now. I have many things to do. ” Kana explained as she let out a yawn and stretched.

“Ahem… Then let’s return!” Lord Yong yelled out. He could not put his finger on it, but he felt Kana was much different. Her existence was strange. It was as if she was not there even though she stood in front of him. He couldn’t understand why he felt that way. He looked at her, but yet he felt the spot where she stood was empty, like nothing was there. “I must be tired….”

Kana paid him no mind as she floated up into the air and looked off into the distance. This world that she was in was mysterious. She hoped now that she could walk around freely, that she could now see the sights of this world when she and her family finally set out to grow their cultivation. While she knew she could leave, she did not wish to. Not yet. It was not time for her to do so.

Her new powers allowed her to sense a lot more things. She could sense her daughter Bell and her grandbabies were raising their strength at an amazing speed. That Aoi and the other elementals were also growing quickly. She could even sense Misaki on the ship rubbing servos with her new husband that Eie created. Her daughter Angelica was easily dominating the soul realm, and that her family at the sect were busy cultivating.

She could also sense a power similar to her death element that was further in the universe that she was in. She made note to check this out. She forgot that the old man had mentioned this to her before.

She could also sense each location of her angels and the condition they were in. It was very strange but, at the same time, allowed her to finally feel that she had grown a step closer to her goal.

Not long later, Kana leaned against the railing of Lord Yong’s flying boat as she looked out over the sea of clouds. She felt at peace. Ever since her evolution, she felt more complete than she ever had. She wondered why this was and probably would not know the exact reason until she reached a certain level or visited a certain place. What level or place that would be, she did not know either.

All she knew was that she felt that maybe now her journey would be a little easier. She would make her way up through the planes of this world until she and her family reached the pinnacle and merged their cores into one. Then they would be ready to reach the sea of stars, but only after she investigated the presence, she felt. She was now looking forward to each day more and more.

“Umm, Kana…” Li Tangxin came and stood beside Kana.

“Hmmm? Are you nervous about your first night with Ming? Just let him hu…..” Kana’s words were quickly stopped as Li Tangxin covered Kana’s mouth with her hands, her face beat red.

“Not even close to what I was going to talk to you about!” Li Tangxin yelled out.

Kana pursed her lips. Didn’t Li Tangxin come to her about love related matters? “If that is not it, then I do not understand. Why did you come to talk to me about love?”

“I am not here to talk to you about love!” Li Tangxin stomped her feet.  “I just wanted to say thank you for everything. If you ever need my help in the future although I highly doubt it will happen, I still want you to know I will do what I can to help.”

“Mmmm… thanks. Now back to your love related matters. You see if you see the mus…..”

“I’m going back inside!” Li Tangxin stomped her feet once more before turning around and walking away. Kana scratched her head and gave a small smile as she whispered: “There is no need to thank me when we are from the same sect.”
