Chapter 1446 To Silvereye

Chapter 1446  To Silvereye

The man looked at both Jasmine and Tim in disbelief. “Wait, you want to meet my captain and check her Zurin treasures?” he asked. “Are you stupid or something?”

“Yes,” Jasmine.

“Oh, so you are stupid,” the man said.

“No, I mean yes to wanting to meet your captain,” Jasmine said. “I know it’s probably a bad idea but I can’t think of what else to do. I don’t even know where your captain lives in, so we would have to search forever to find her.”

“Why do you even want to find her?” the man asked.

“Like we said, we want to review her treasures. It will just take a minute at most,” she said.

“So you want our captain to reveal to you what her treasures do,” the man said. “The only reason I’m not calling people here to beat the shit out of you is because you are a guest at our penthouse. I’m sorry, but I will not be helping you in this matter.”

“I see,” Jasmine said. “Well, that’s alright then. You’ll have found out we trying to find out about your captain’s treasure from the intelligence shop, so it’s better to get the stuff out of the way, in a way.”

“What do you guys want to do with that information?” the man asked. “Who do you work for?”

“Nobody,” Jasmine said with an annoyed look. “That guy we came with, he promised us some reward if we could document 10 different treasures in this city. Would you happen to know what the 10th treasure here is? The bartender at Big Jack’s only knew 9.”

“If Big Jack can’t help you, I surely can’t,” the man said. “And those 9 treasures, some of those should belong to Captain Redfist and Yolan tool. Are you going to try and find something from them as well?”

“Yes,” Jasmine said. “That is our task.”

Jasmine was starting to wonder if going to find the information publically was a bad idea. Maybe she should have spent the 90 golds. ‘That should be fine,’ she thought. ‘As long as they don’t figure out that we are coming for them, it will be alright.’

“You kids really do have a death wish,” the man said and shook his head. “Go die if you want to. I can’t help you in that case.”

“Okay, we’ll leave,” Jasmine said and walked away. Tim followed behind her, looking at the list of names he had written down on a small notebook he carried.

“Who should we go to first?” he asked. He flipped through the details.

“Let’s start with a less serious one,” Jasmine said, looking at the darkening sky. Purple color started filling the horizon, and soon the sun would sink below the hills to the west.

“Less serious one,” Tim looked through the names. “Ironheart Sam, Captain Hook, Whirlwind Tiffany, or Silvereye.”

“Who do we know we can meet easily?” Jasmine asked.

Tim looked at the information. “It is said here that Silvereye owns a massive bar in Yolan’s territory on the eastern side of the city and Captain Hook is close to him, so he visits there regularly.”

“If we’re lucky, we’ll meet them both there,” Tim said.

“Let’s go for them then,” Jasmine said and the two made their way through the streets, visiting the east.

The pirate city of Rumgrave only had people living on one side of it. The other sides were forested hills, and people hadn’t yet expanded there just yet.

Besides, the pirates liked living closer to the water just in case, and thus not many preferred to go to the hills, even though it was objectively a better place to make home.

The city itself was divided into 3 large sections with the Redfist Pirates owning a large section to the west, close to the the hills that crept up all the way to the shore.

The Stillheart pirate took up the majority of the land at the center of the city, with Captain Stillwater being a notorious enough figure to make people run away with just her name.

Finally, Captain Yolan had a large section to himself as well to the east, where the city ended by a large bay on the eastern side.

The city appeared as though it was originally a regular city with regular people living in it, and it was only later occupied by pirates. As such, most of what was in the city appeared to have been added later on, made entirely of wood.

Jasmine and Tim made their way through the rowdy city, doing their best to not get into trouble when they could. From time to time, Jasmine’s face attracted enough attention that she was forced to make herself appear uglier than she was, and even that failed to keep the men away. In the end, she was forced to turn herself to appear as a man. She also created a massive figure next to her with one of his eyes white with a scar on top of it, his body so muscular that people simply wanted to move away from him.

They finally found Silvereye’s bar and entered it, finding a rowdy crowd that was already drunk despite the night not yet completely falling.

“Do you see a silver eyepatch anywhere?” Jasmine asked Tim.

Tim glanced around for a moment. “No, but I did see Captain Hook,” he said. He gestured in the direction and Jasmine saw him too.

“What do you propose we do now?” Tim asked.

Jasmine looked around. “A diversion,” she said.

The big man behind her suddenly roared loud enough that he caught everyone’s attention. “Where is Silvereye?” he shouted out loud. “I have something to say to that bastard.”

Everyone stopped where they were, looking toward the man. As everyone was focused on what the man was about to say, Jasmine turned herself and Tim invisible and slowly made her way toward Captain Hook.

Tim saw the man and his golden hook and smiled brightly. Their first treasure was here for them to record.
