Chapter 840

At the same time, Peter, who had sent MJ home, had no idea that Dio had helped him solve a major problem. He was also unaware that he had been severely beaten during this training. A 9-point assessment… The percentage system, that is.

MJ, who arrived home without incident, was a little nervous about today’s thrilling scene, and she thought about it a lot on the way back. 

“Would you like to come in for a glass of water?” she said as she turned around and looked at Peter.

“No need. I think aunt may will be worried about me right now.” Peter said while repeatedly waving his hands. 

“Well, my parents are on a business trip today, and I am all alone,” MJ said shyly. But Peter didn’t seem to understand what MJ was hinting at, and thus he just looked at MJ with sadness in his eyes.

“I am to blame for everything that happened to you today, I had no idea the exposure of my identity would cause so much trouble like this.” Peter apologized. 

“So, you’re sorry?” MJ cast a sour look at Peter. “What are you sorry about?” MJ said sourly. “Did you regret ever knowing me?” MJ bombarded Peter with tricky questions. 

“No way! I would never regret ever knowing you, it’s just.. “ Peter said as he was at loss for words. If Dio saw this scene, even the last 9 points from his evaluation of Peter earlier would be deducted!

MJ frowned as she realized that it was impossible to wait for Peter to make the first move. So, she decisively grabbed Peter’s hand, “Come with me, I have something to tell you.”

Peter quietly braced himself as he thought that MJ would definitely be mad right now. But he knew that there was nothing he could do as what MJ experienced today would definitely frighten her. 

But he quickly got confused as MJ took him to her room and locked the door before she pushed Peter down to the bed. Peter was stunned as he didn’t know what to do at this moment. 

MJ, on the other hand, looked very assertive as she seemed to know what she was doing. She knew what she wanted as she realized that she thought about a lot of regrets earlier. But one thing that she never regretted was meeting Peter. 

“MJ, what are you doing?” Peter innocently asked as he saw MJ started to take her clothes off. 

“Stop talking and start stripping, you bad boy!” MJ said with a dominating aura.

Hearing MJ’s dominating words, Peter was distressed.

The next day, Peter, who had finally grown from a boy to a man, appeared to have reclaimed his life. The sun was shining brightly outside the window, and the air was crisp.

What about school?

Peter thought that he should take it easy today. With everything that happened yesterday, he wasn’t prepared to go back to school so soon.

After all, he just made love to MJ, and he needed to lie down to process it all. Nevertheless, Peter was full of motivation. He made a vow to himself that he would never go down without a fight! 

“Did you want something to eat? I am hungry right now.” Peter asked as he saw MJ opening her eyes.

MJ herself immediately covered her face with the pillow as she was embarrassed to see Peter again after what she had done the previous night.

“Have things been resolved?”

“Well, while it is still very astringent, it is severely lacking in all aspects. But… take your time, it’s a nice piece of jade.”

Dio was frying a poached egg while wearing an apron, and his face showed that he wasn’t keen on waiting any longer.

“He’s only sixteen years old! You are being unfair!” Wanda said hastily despite hesitating for a while. 

Dio sighed as he knew what Wanda was thinking. “Wanda, the situation develops far too soon! You know how hard it was for us to win against Thanos! The multiverse couldn’t wait, and it wouldn’t wait for us either! There is no time for Peter to grow in a convenient way.” 

“It will all come down to whether we can protect ourselves or not!” Peter said as he flipped the eggs on the pan. “Tony also urgently told me to develop Peter to become an excellent leader for the future Avengers, so the Avengers could face the future threat!” Dio expressed his concern to Wanda. 

He knew that just being in a Marvel universe was dangerous enough, but if the universe had truly evolved into a multiverse, this danger would be multiplied by ten, hundreds, or even millions of times!

Wanda, whose belly had already bulged prominently, hugged Dio from behind as she felt how bleak Dio saw the world. 

“Remember when you told me not to think too much? That the future is a problem that we could solve later? Maybe things aren’t as bad as you think it is.” Wanda said as she tried to calm Dio. 

Dio laughed out loud as he didn’t expect Wanda would use his own word against him like this. “You are absolutely correct! It isn’t really a big deal! If this world is fucked, we could always go to some safe world out there! Now, come and try my fried egg, it is absolutely delicious!” Dio said while grinning and putting the dish he had made into the plate.

“Don’t you want to name your child first? Or is it too soon?” Wanda asked amusedly. 

“It’s still a few months before the baby is born, right? Why are we naming them now?” Dio asked curiously. “But let me think about it. Have we tried to combine our two names?” Dio asked.

“Dida? It wasn’t a good name, now was it?” Wanda said while chuckling lightly.

“Wio? It doesn’t sound good either!” Dio said with a frown on his face. “Maybe we both need to change our name just so that the child would have a good name!” Dio joked lightly.

“Have you hit your head too many times now? No way! Why would I change my name just for that?” Wanda said while smacking Dio’s shoulder.

“Hmmm, how about Dao? I remember it means something in my culture.” Dio said while raising his shoulder.

“It didn’t sound bad, but what does it mean?” Wanda asked. 

“Who cares? The one thing that we should remember is that the child is the fruit of our love.” Dio said while looking at Wanda lovingly.

Wanda smiled and nodded as she knew that what Dio said made sense.

“Dao, our little baby Dao. In the future, he would be known as Dao Brando, but who would he resemble the most? Is it me or you?” Wanda asked curiously.

“He would surely resemble both of us, I am handsome, and you are beautiful, so it doesn’t matter. He would inherit all of our genes.” Dio said proudly.

Dio looked forward to the day he would hold his baby on his arm, but he wasn’t too sure that the child would inherit either of their power. Would they inherit the Scarlet Witch’s Power? Or would they inherit Dio’s Stand Ability?

While thinking that both of their power had their own demerit, Dio hoped that his children would be able to break free from the shackle of what they suppose to do and soar to the sky on their own.
