Chapter 90 - It’s an answer, but not the answer (2)

Chapter 90: It’s an answer, but not the answer (2)

Ilhu’s left cheek was struck, and his sight and sense of direction were shaken. He was attakcing while charging at full speed, but that wasn’t enough. Jung Ilhu now had about 500 points in Stamina. He turned towards the front, but Dohyuk was no longer there.

Left? Or from the right?

His eyes moved in separate directions like a chameleon’s to catch a glimpse of Dohyuk, but he wasn’t on either side. Dohyuk was below. He slid down into the ground, right below Ilhu. He kicked up high toward Ilhu’s left cheek again at a faster speed, but with the element of surprise. Ilhu’s left jaw was crushed and with a screech, he punched both his fists on the ground.

The metal surface was crumpled, but Dohyuk wasn’t there anymore as he had already as he rolled out of the place as soon as he landed the second strike. It was a move that existed in all martial arts, but Dohyuk did it differently as normal people wouldn’t be able to do that while rolling on the ground.

“It was too basic, that was the problem,” Dohyuk mumbled. However, the only one who could understand what it meant was Blass.

“…How?”

“14 times.”

With his eyes fixated on Jung Ilhu, Dohyuk prepared his stance.

“That’s how many times I was beaten by you.”

The reason was because of the difference in skill. But to give it a different reason…

“How should I say it… I heard the wrong pitch.”

Out of all those he fought up against until now, when he saw them, he felt like he heard some tune in his head. It wasn’t his instincts, but the knowledge of his kick skill telling him that the ‘movement’ was correct. Yet the move that Blass did had no such thing. It was weird, strange, and inefficient.

His skill was basically telling him that whatever Blass was doing was wrong. That’s when Dohyuk realized how it was wrong.

“I think it was the 9th? Or maybe the 8th. I wasn’t just getting beat up. I almost returned from being dead, so it would be weird if I didn’t get anything out of that…”

“KYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!”

A scream spread through the hall. Ilhu screeched angrily at Dohyuk, yet fear began seeping back into him. As Dohyuk saw the beast charging at him, he focused his eyes and-

“…It’s amazing.”

How would he not think that? The beast was clearly raging, but Ilhu’s body was cleanly unleashing the skills he had trained throughout the years without any mistakes.

That was the answer.

The Flying Master Kicks was filling his head with information, but that was not the answer. After all, this basic form that all fighting skills were based upon was the problem.

It was very simple. If all skills, including his Flying Master Kicks, were created within certain civilizations and all those civilizations that Casita invaded had their knowledge taken away…

‘They, too, don’t know.’

It is obvious, but Dohyuk, or the being called a human, wasn’t as strong as he was now. It was probably the same with the Bermurans under Aruga, and the same with the people of Vehume and Blass’s world. They had different types of skin and body sizes, but they were similar in their human form. Hence, it probably meant their original power was similar. Therefore, the skill itself that everyone used was also probably made to suit their original strengths.

It was just that the skill itself was already ‘complete’ and everyone was so used to receiving what Casita provided that they didn’t care. Or rather, they did not care to learn.

‘They did not learn how to move their body that became stronger after receiving higher stat points.’

Normally, it was impossible to reach. Nobody would have imagined inventing a martial art that would fit the level of superhuman strength. Dohyuk let out his breath, but that was something different from what he was used to.

<<Acquired skill>>

A different skill. By moving his body, Dohyuk could finally reach the true answer.

To fit his superhuman body.

<<Upgraded – Flying Master Kicks>>

The weapon that would reach god-

Dohyuk unleashed his attack.
