Chapter 691 - Huo Yunting, Being Fishy

Chapter 691: Huo Yunting, Being Fishy

In the afternoon, Lu Zhaoyang went about the whole shopping complex. The gents, ladies and kids section. She practically went through all of them.

The bodyguard behind Huo Yunting held bags big and small while both her and Huo Yunting walked empty handed in front.

Lu Zhaoyang felt that she had screwed herself.

In this situation, they had become the focal point of everyone around them.

“I’m done. Lets go.”

If they did not make their move now, there would soon be additional material for the tabloids.

Huo Yunting held her waist in the car and coldly said, “Last week Su Cheng gave me two tickets for the concert. Lets go tonight.”

“So you asked me to make time just for this? You knew I hated this and so you did not tell me the whole time?”

Lu Zhaoyang looked on in realization and understood why he was acting fishy.

If she knew that they were just going to see a concert, she did not need to purposely round about today.

“So, you want to go?”

“Lets go, he’s your bro after all.” Lu Zhaoyang laid on his shoulder and tried to rid herself of the shopping fatigue. “As a show of support at least, since we had been photographed enough already today.”

She might as well just go with the flow since she could not change anything.

Huo Yunting looked at her delicate face, as he dotingly smiled, but deep in his eyes, an imperceptible glow flashed past.

The concert was happening as always and when Lu Zhaoyang looked at the itinerary, she recognized none of the groups performing.

“Su Cheng really did produce many popular groups.” She looked up at the audience making their way in and said in amazement. “He really is capable.”

“His ability to make stars out of people is remarkable.” Huo Yunting held her waist and responded nonchalantly.

“Since when you were interested in idol singers? Or girl band performances?” She raised an eyebrow.

“No…”

He recovered from his daze and quickly gave her a peck. His eyes were glowing.

After a short chat, the concert started.

The phenomenal opening act lit the whole arena up and the audience were quickly riled up and started cheering.

The screaming from all direction almost defeaned Lu Zhaoyang.

Two hands covered her eyes at that very moment. The warm and familiar palms warmed her heart. She turned towards Huo Yunting.

“Thank you.”

He seemed to be restraining his strength and Lu Zhaoyang too noticed his gentleness and care. She did not have the heart to tell him that strength was practically pointless.

After half way through the performance, the screaming died down somewhat.

Lu Zhaoyang laid on the comfortable chair as she listened to romantic music. Her heart felt even more at ease.

“I’m heading to the washroom, be right back.” Huo Yunting whispered to her ears.

She gave it the OK sign as she herad that.

Huo Yunting had not returned even as the pretty girls on stage had completed two sets of songs.

Lu Zhaoyang could not help but look around. Did he get lost?

Just as she was looking about, the stage darkened and Lu Zhaoyang reflexively looked over.

She saw the stage lights landed on the boy band that had just appeared.

Su Cheng’s concerts were always chaotic, but it was effective, and even after so many years, the crowd was still buying it.

As the music played again, the pretty boys on the stage started dancing, as they slowly headed to the audience from the stage center.
